#ZabrinaSecretSanta

So Z over at Sometimes Z Take Pictures hosted a blog Secret Santa this year. I'm not sure if the receiver of my present has gotten it yet (been secretly stalking their blog) but I have received my gift from my Secret Santa! The person who had me was Victoria from Life as Mrs. Aguila. Her gifts were lovely and personal and just great, let me show you what I got:
Thank you so much Victoria!

The final Photo an Hour post! I chose Christmas Eve since it is a special achievement. I don't think I'll be doing Photo an Hour next year but it was a fun project and I'm glad I completed it. Who knows what next year's photo project will be but I am excited to keep up the habit of taking more photos.

The new year is soon upon us and 2014 looks like it's going to be a great one for MagicCatJenny! I really would love it if you were part of the fun!

There are two XL spots available for January. They are the first two ads and will always be seen. There are 20 large spots and 20 small spots. The small spots are swappable if you have a blog, however I do offer deals and discounts to repeat ad customers and customers who purchase more than one month at a time, just ask! Each ad lasts 30 days.

I am using Adproval but I also accept direct Pay Pal purchases. You can find more information and make your selection directly through my advertising page. Just select the size and hit "Apply for Ad Spot" (or "Request Free Ad Swap") and then enter your information and upload your ad.

I will design your ad for free if you are purchasing a spot and for a small fee if you are swapping, just email me if you need that! (MagicCatJenny[at]gmail[dot]com)

How I Wrapped My Christmas Presents

So, I'm a geek for present wrapping. It's a relitivly new thing with me. Last year I wrapped all the gifts I gave in the same wrapping paper and I wanted to do it again. This year I have chosen to use Trader Joe's paper bags instead of wrapping paper. I like the Trader Joe's bags because this time of year they are Christmas and holiday themed and I like recycling things when I can. There's also a LUSH bag there I used to wrap a gift bought from there. I really like the brown bag look this year!
Guess what, this post is a link up!  If you want to join the "I'm a Geek for" party, link up with your own post about present wrapping. We'd love to see it. And if you can't make it this time around, we'll be back in January with another theme. Join in then!

4 Simple Goals *before 2014: Update

Update time! Remember this post? Well lets see how I'm doing on those goals...

1. Buy a succulent. I've been browsing Etsy for these and have found quite a few I like. However, I mentioned to Jim that I do want one so I think I'm going to wait till after Christmas just in case.

2. Inbox zero. WELL, I was very close to achieving this yesterday when this happened. So thanks to John Green featuring my P4A video in yesterday's live stream, I have a few more emails to sort out.

3. Complete one more 2013 Goal. Oh yeah, did a few more actually. You'll have to stay tuned to find out which ones I completed. ;)

4. Rethink my shoes. This one has been an interesting journey. So far I got rid of half of my heels but have yet to buy new boots and comfortable shoes yet. This goal is in progress. The sole inserts were a bust so I went to see a podiatrist for my foot, and though I need to get an MRI to be sure, there is a big chance I've been walking on a fracture for the last 14 years(!) I want to wear heels on New Years...perhaps I'll bring flats and go back and forth. Argggg, my poor foot.
