On our seventh day in Japan; and our third and last day in Kyoto; Jim and I visited three beautiful and (very different) places. The Nijō Castle, the Kyoto Botanical Garden, and the Kyoto Imperial Palace. What I remember most; besides learning the history of Japan and experiencing it's beauty; was knowing that Jim and I were the only two people who knew we were going to get married. I know it sounds cheesy, but it was such a fun secret we shared that day. (Later that night when we got back to Tokyo, we told my sister of course.) It made everything we saw extra beautiful in a way.
