Photowall Canvas Print Review

Disclosure: I received two canvas prints from Photowall in order to share my opinion about their products, but this isn’t a sponsored post. Also, there's a discount at the end of this post for you!

For this review, I chose a photo from my engagement shoot and one from my wedding. (Both shot by Paige and Blake Photography!) They came out beautifully, the quality is great and I love how they look. I picked the smallest size possible for canvas prints, 40 cm x 60 cm, however, the prints are still a bit big for our small apartment. I think the engagement photo will make it on our wall somewhere...but I'm not sure about the wedding one since we take up most of the frame.

The prints came in two packages with easy to understand instructions. (There's a YouTube video of instructions as well that they'll link you to if you need it.) I don't often do product reviews on this blog but Photowall is a Swedish company, and if you know me you know I have a soft spot in my heart for Sweden.

I'll give you a tip for the set-up of the canvas prints: you might have to re-stick the last side of the canvas that you end up putting together with the metal parts. It's a tight squeeze to get it all to come together but I figured it out in the end.
I think they look really wonderful, I just need to decide where to put them. If you'd like to get a canvas print for yourself, Photowall is currently offering my readers a 20% discount code. Just enter JenniferHolmquistCampaign2018 at checkout. It's only available for 30 days!

Weddings on the Mind

Last weekend Jim and I went to our friends' Ian and Deseree's wedding. We realized it was probably the last wedding we'll go to before our own. Their wedding was a small ceremony held in the Los Angeles Railway Huron Substation, a historical location with a 'living art installation' called Chickens at the Station. (There was a small chicken coup out front) The ceremony was sentimental and really really nerdy. (I can't even remember all the references.) The food was great and the dancing and photo-booth kept us well entertained for the night. Deseree and Ian even got to leave the party in style, in their own DeLorean with Doc Brown as there chauffeur.

Jim and I are planning our own wedding and though we have a lot of the big things worked out already, it may be time to start planning more of the details. I think I'll be mentally revisiting all the weddings we've been to in the last 5 years. (there's like...9 or 10 of them!) The next seven and a half months are sure to get busy but are going to be a lot of fun.

Dianna's Wedding

IMG_5802 Earlier this Month my cousin Dianna got married. It was a big deal because she's the first of the cousins on my dad's side to get married. (There are six of us, mostly all close in age.) I had bet back at the start of last year that she'd be the first. Then sure enough she got engaged. (And I'm next!) I love her so much and I'm so happy she found her prince. (Her wedding was mostly Sleeping Beauty themed, so that's not as cheesy as it sounds.) Here's some of my favorite photos from the day. (That photo above is me, Dianna, her new hubby Bob, and my sister Amy.)

New York City Summer: Part 2

The second day we spent in NYC was at a wedding. Jim's friend Joe got married in a beautiful Manhattan church and then the reception was held on the 32nd floor of a huge hotel around the corner. It was all so breathtaking. See our first day here.
